I have already saw the information from that link, but now my problem is i couldnt get hold of the solution that you said you will publish, if i can at least get my hands on the solution so that i should know how you created the tables and importing their according to the iterated spreadsheet,

all i have done is i can iterate through all excel files, and create the table per each iterated excel file , but the problem is i am getting an error when i try to import dat on the data flow side... please help please

Re: SSIS importing multiple excel sheets

Hi Cecil,

how do i create a table based on the name(s) of excel(or Sheets) file that you are importing(or looping through), and at the same time import the data from that excel(Sheets) file into the created table in the database

all i have done is, i can loop through the excel file, and create the table into the database based on the name of the iterated excel file, but i dont know how to import the data from that excel file. i will be really happy if you can provide this as a solution that uses excel sheets

Thanks
